Cancale, the bay
Cancale, on the Emerald Coast, is the ideal centre from which to tour this wonderful coastline from Mont Saint-Michel to Saint-Malo, a stretch of coast that attracts several million visitors every year.

Cancale is sheltered from westerly winds by the headland known as the Pointe du Grouin.
Its outstanding geographical location looking out to Mont Saint-Michel Bay which stretches eastwards makes it a quiet spot in which to spend a holiday.

From Cancale, you can visit the bay and the oyster beds that have brought Cancale international fame.

Brittany begins in Cancale.

A trip to Saint-Malo takes you along an untamed stretch of coastline.
Rocky headlands swept by the wind plunge down into the emerald green sea.

A trip to Mont Saint-Michel provides a quite different sight – vast shores, with salt meadows and grazing sheep, throb with the ebb and flow of the tides whose amplitude contributes to the never-ending sight of an ever-changing landscape.

Cancale is synonymous with:
- An unspoilt environment. – Protected wildlife. – Breathtaking surroundings and unique panoramic views.- An area internationally famous for good food.- A long history and a maritime heritage. – An ideal place from which to tour the Emerald Coast.
